Meet Dr. Jonathan Walburg
Giving Back
Dr. Jon was inspired to become a chiropractor as a way to give back to the profession that kept him healthy over the course of his life. He grew up with regular chiropractic care for illnesses and sports related injuries, and he credits chiropractic with optimizing his athletic performance, which opened many doors for him in his athletic career.
Education and Experience
As an undergrad at Winona State University, Dr. Jon won a national championship in basketball. He then went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2015.
He has continued to further his education, particularly in the areas of pediatrics and neurologically-based chiropractic. He has completed Epic training as well as Focus Academy training.
After graduating from Cleveland, Dr. Jon opened his own practice in Iowa. When the opportunity to join Smith Elite Family Chiropractic with his chiropractic college classmate Dr. G arose, Dr. Jon and his family made the move to Liberty. He loves being part of so many families’ health teams and getting to know our patients of all ages on a personal level and celebrating their wins.

In His Spare Time
Dr. Jon’s family is everything to him, so when he’s not at the office, he’s constantly on the go with his wife and kids. They enjoy going to parks, shooting hoops and taking walks in the neighborhood. Dr. Jon also qualified for Team USA in the 2023 Kettlebell Sport competition.
